Dr. Arun V Adkoli, ( MS, FGO, Medical Director. )

An enthusiastic, self motivated, smiling, patient friendly nature with an ambition of providing the Hi-tech treatment with cost effectiveness to all walks of the society, he started Sunetra Eye Clinic in the year 1998 with a small set up. Now it has grown to a level being on par with the other leading eye care personals and providing the hi tech technology with cost effectiveness enabling needy people to get the best possible treatment.

He completed his MBBS from JJMMC, Davanagere in the year 1987. He has completed his Post graduation (Master of Surgery) from GMC, Aurangabad in the year 1995. He entered into multiple fellow ship programs as well as worked in many prestigious institutions to gain experience and master the skill of surgery. Through out his carrier he has been merit student with topper status in multiple subjects. He was a toper in the batch of MS. He has got M C Modi Award for BEST OUT GOING FELLOW AND SURGICAL SKILLS.

Dr.Arun.V.Adkoli is an active member in both ALL INDIA OPHTHALMIC SOCIETY & KARNATAKA OPHTHALMIC SOCIETY.

Dr.Arun has published the papers about Refractive surgery and Lasik in Karnataka Journal of Ophthalmology. He also has presented Paper on Infection keratitis in Karnataka state conference.

Dr Jayashree Arun, ( Consultant – Medical Retina. )

An smiling, confident, having patience to listen to the problems from patients, Dr Jayashree Arun completed her MBBS in the year 1997 from M S Ramaiah Medical College, Bangalore. She did her Diplomat of National Board from a reputed institute from Bangalore. She has been trained in Diabetic eye care and lasers from reputed Arvind eye hospital, Madurai. Dr Jayashree Arun is an active member of Karnataka Ophthalmic Society and All India Ophthalmic Society. She is trained in Phaco and Cataract Management from Bangalore West Lions Eye Hospital, Bangalore.

Dr Raghavendra, Senior Anaesthetist

A senior anaesthetist who has got ample experience in the critical care and emergency management. He is always available during surgeries / procedures to attend the emergencies if any arises.

Dr Krishna Kumar, Consultant – ophthalmologist

A Senior consultant, specilised in general eye care is available by prior appointments. He has worked in Many reputed and leading hospitals.

Dr Shivaprasad, Consultant – Ophthalmologist.

A consultant and visiting surgeon is available by prior appointments for the management of glaucoma surgeries and squint.

Dr Ramesh, Consultant – ENT

A well known ENT specialist and will be present in the combined surgical team for lacrimal disorders and endoscopic DCT and DCR.
